Education leaders from state and state integrated secondary (inc. area schools) with students in Years 9–13 are invited to attend the Curriculum and Assessment Roadshow in-person or online.

Eligible leaders from private and charter schools are also welcome to register for any of the online events. 

Eligible leaders include: 

  • Principals, Tumuaki
  • Deputy Principals, Tumuaki Tuarua
  • Assistant/Associate Principal, Pou Āwhina
  • Senior Leadership Team members, Pouārahi
  • Directors of Curriculum or Assessment, Kaitohu Aromatawai /Kaitohu Marautanga
  • Principal’s Nominee, Kaitakawaenga ki te Tumuaki
  • School Board Presiding Members, Mema o te Poari Kura

In-person attendance:

Each school may register up to three leaders for an in-person event. 

Online attendance:

There is no limit on online event attendance for eligible leaders including those from private and charter schools. 

Online attendees will be watching the live event. 

Online attendees are welcome to join any of the four online sessions, regardless of location. Details of the events are below.

Wellington in-person event only:

The Wellington programme will begin slightly later (approximately 10:30am) to accommodate essential logistical and venue‑readiness requirements. As a result, this session will run as a shorter, in-person only event, and an online option won’t be available for this location. We will still cover all key updates and content on the day.

Language options:

For these events, we are providing NZ Sign Language (NZSL) on stage. 

NZSL interpreter will be visible for online participants on their screen.
