Getting there

The Dunedin Centre is located at 1 Harrop Street, just off Moray Place in central Dunedin. It’s in the city’s business district, adjacent to The Octagon and close to shops, cafés, and transport hubs.

By public transport

  • Orbus local buses serve Dunedin and surrounding suburbs (e-scooters and bikes also available). The nearest major bus hub on Great King Street is just a short walk away.
  • Long-distance buses (e.g., InterCity) arrive at stops on Moray Place in central Dunedin — usually outside supermarkets such as Woolworths Dunedin Central — within walking distance of the venue.

By taxi / rideshare

  • Taxis and rideshare vehicles can drop you off on or near Moray Place. There’s also a taxi rank in The Octagon area, a short walk from the Centre.

By car

  • There’s no dedicated venue parking, but pay-and-display street parking and several nearby car parks are available around Moray Place, Great King Street and Filleul Street.

  • Larger public car park buildings in the city centre (e.g., on Great King Street and Lower Moray Place) are typically within easy walking distance.
     

Accessibility
Mobility access to the Town Hall is via the side entrance on Harrop Street.

Getting there

Te Pae Christchurch is located in the centre of the city, just a short 15–20 minute drive from Christchurch International Airport.

By public transport

  • Metro buses serve Christchurch and connect major suburbs, the airport, and the central city — with convenient stops a few minutes’ walk from Te Pae.

  • The main Bus Interchange and other city stops are nearby, from where you can walk to the venue.

By taxi/rideshare

  • Taxis and ride-hailing services (e.g., Uber) can drop you off right near the entrance on Oxford Terrace or on Armagh Street.

  • Drop-off and pick-up areas are close to the building’s main access points.

By car

  • Te Pae itself doesn’t have onsite parking, but it is surrounded by multiple off-street parking options, including nearby EV charging stations and cycle stands, all within easy walk of the centre.

Accessibility

The entrance and publicly accessible areas of the venue are seamlessly connected, accessible and step free, with drop off and pick up points available directly in front of the main entrance on Oxford Terrace, or on the corner of Armagh Street and Oxford Terrace.

Getting there

Arriving from Mt Maunganui:

  • Head Southeast on Maunganui Rd, at the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto State Hwy 2 heading to Te Puke.
  • Take the exit toward Sandhurst Dr, Turn right onto Sandhurst Dr (signs for Mangatawa/Stadium). Continue onto Mangatawa Link Rd.
  • Turn left onto Truman Lane (Destination will be on the left) use entrance 1.

Arriving from Whakatane/Te Puke:

  • Follow State Hwy 2 heading to Mount Maunganui/Tauranga. 
  • Take the Sandhurst Dr exit from State Hwy 2, and turn left towards Mangatawa, then left onto Truman Lane.
  • Use entrance 1 (refer Mercury map under Parking & Travel Planning).

Arriving from Hamilton and Waihi:

  • Drive from SH 1, State Hwy 29 and State Hwy 29A towards Papamoa.
  • Take the Sandhurst Dr exit from State Hwy 2, turn right towards Mangatawa then left onto Truman Lane.
  • Use entrance 1 (refer Mercury map under Parking & Travel Planning).

Parking information

Carpark D is a designated parking area available for Roadshow delegates.

Please enter Baypark via Entrance 1 on Truman Lane. Continue straight past the Pit Lane Arena turn-off and proceed to Carpark D. From there, please use the adjacent Arena entrance.

Getting there

Tākina is located in Wellington CBD’s cultural precinct, within easy walking distance of key transport links, entertainment and dining options, and thousands of accommodation rooms.

By public transport

  • Most Wellington buses, including services that come from the airport and railway station, stop along Courtenay Place and Willis Street — a short walk to Tākina.

By taxi / rideshare

  • Taxis (e.g., Wellington Combined Taxis) have a stand outside Te Papa — just cross the road to Cable Street and you’re at Tākina.

  • They can drop you right outside the venue.

By car

 

Accessibility

Tākina has access ramps at both main entrances. Internally, the venue provides lifts to all areas, accessible toilets on all floors, and a convenient parents' room on Level 1.

All the meeting spaces are designed for easy access with ample circulation space around entranceways.

Vision impairment

Registered assistance dogs are welcome in all our spaces.

Mobility parking

Five accessible car parks are located near the ground-floor entrance of the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa, with two uncovered and three covered.

Accessible drop-off and pick-up locations for both Te Papa and Tākina are provided at the taxi zone outside Te Papa on Cable Street, and at the layby on Wakefield Street adjacent to Tākina.

Getting there

By car

  • Ellerslie Event Centre is a 12-20 minute drive from the city centre, located just off State Highway 1.
  • Please enter at 16 Derby Downs Place, drive through the tunnel and continue on the road until you reach the carpark that is located within the racecourse infield. Parking is free in this carpark
  • Please note that the carpark that once ran adjacent to the Southern Motorway is no longer operational. The driveway that previously ran alongside this carpark is now one-way with entry via Ascot Avenue and exit only via Mitchelson Street.

By taxi / rideshare

  • Drop-offs are available via 100 Ascot Avenue.

By public transport

  • There are several bus routes and an 18-minute walk from Greenlane Train Station.
     

Accessibility

The venue provides wheelchair-accessible entrances and parking.

Mobility parking

Accessible parking is available near the event centre. Guests with permits or prior arrangements can use the designated spaces accessible via 100 Ascot Avenue.
