The 2026 Curriculum & Assessment Roadshow for Leaders is a one-day, high impact event designed to give secondary school leaders the clarity and confidence to implement upcoming curriculum, assessment and qualification changes.
Delivered in Term 2 through five in-person events and a full online option for those joining remotely, the Roadshow brings together expert speakers and practical sessions so you can move forward with certainty and support your staff through change.

She has delivered largescale professional learning through Australia’s Kimberley Schools Project and advises the Australian Education Research Organisation (AERO), bringing practical expertise in high impact teaching and implementation.

Who can attend
The Roadshow is for leaders from state and state integrated secondary (inc. area schools) with students in Years 9–13. Eligible leaders include:
- Principals, Tumuaki
- Deputy Principals, Tumuaki Tuarua
- Assistant/Associate Principal, Pou Āwhina
- Senior Leadership Team members, Pouārahi
- Directors of Curriculum or Assessment, Kaitohu Aromatawai /Kaitohu Marautanga
- Principal’s Nominee, Kaitakawaenga ki te Tumuaki
- School Board Presiding Members, Mema o te Poari Kura
In-person attendance:
Each school may register up to three leaders for an in-person event.
Online attendance:
Unlimited for all eligible leaders, including those from private and charter schools.
