Who Can Attend?
These workshops are designed for leaders from state and integrated schools and kura (Years 0-10), including:
- Principals and Tumuaki
- Deputy Principals and Tumuaki Tuarua
- Assistant and Associate Principals / Pou Āwhina
- Senior Leadership Team members / Pouārahi
- Directors of Curriculum or Assessment
- Principal's Nominees
- Other leaders identified by their school or kura as best placed to attend
Each school or kura may register up to two leaders for in-person attendance.
For leaders unable to attend in person, webinars will also be available. Details will be provided soon.
Session Options
Session Options Depending on the workshop version, you can register for:
- NZC only
- Te Marautanga o Aotearoa only
- Remaining Learning Areas (Years 9-10) only
- NZC + Te Marautanga o Aotearoa
- NZC + Remaining Learning Areas (Years 9-10)
Teacher Release Funding
To support participation, U3 and under schools and kura may claim funding for one day's teacher release time for each attending leader.
If you would like to claim teacher release funding, please indicate this when registering.
How to Claim
Following attendance, submit a Tax Invoice to the Ministry of Education that includes:
- School or kura name and address
- GST number (if applicable)
- Bank account number
- Invoice addressed to Ministry of Education
- Invoice reference: Curriculum Engagement Workshops
- Full name of the attendee
- Date of the workshop attended
Further instructions will be provided following registration.
